Bucatariefilmare.ro: the website with the kitchens of the Parcfilm Film Set.
We’ve previously discussed how we built our film studio and its evolution in an article on our website, which focuses more on its history.
Our current studio, located within the Electromagnetica office building—fairly central—covers about 100 square meters and can accommodate a film crew of up to 15–20 people. A larger team would be harder to manage, especially during meal breaks.
Over time, the space has proven extremely useful for culinary shoots. Currently, it features two fully equipped filming kitchens, both in terms of decor and cooking technology. Perhaps the most important aspect is that the set also includes a fully equipped service kitchen with an oven, stove, and all necessary tools, allowing a kitchen assistant to prepare dishes that support the filming taking place in the main set.
Additionally, the studio offers a makeup area, a production/material download zone, and a video assist/client and agency table.
Although the studio has space for other types of filming and photo shoots with various backgrounds, most productions have focused on the “filming kitchen” concept—such as Farfuria lui Exarhu. That’s why we even created a dedicated website: https://www.bucatariefilmare.ro, where we also showcase a few presentation photos of the set and its various decors over time.
